The Atlantic Legal Foundation believes that educating students about limited, responsible and effective government, free enterprise, individual liberty, school choice, and sound science is fundamental to the survival of a free society. Atlantic Legal seeks focused, dynamic, and high-energy students or recent graduates with excellent research and communication abilities. Responsibilities and tasks include web research, writing, clerical and administrative tasks, and some data entry. Atlantic Legal is a recognized leader in fighting for the integrity of the judicial process by ensuring that courts apply correct legal and scientific principles in those cases in which scientific and other expert testimony is offered. Atlantic Legal is also an active participant in cases involving significant constitutional issues, school choice, and corporate governance. Atlantic Legal Foundation provides students (high school seniors, college undergraduates, and law students) several opportunities to participate in its work through the Internship Program. Atlantic Legal offers an educational and fulfilling experience while allowing students to develop research, writing, and analytical skills as they make a contribution to the rule of law. The Summer 2010 internship application deadline is Friday, April 23, 2010 but candidates are encouraged to apply as early as possible inasmuch as positions are offered on a rolling basis
