Marketing Internship JoonBug Productions Firm: JoonBug Productions is a multi-media company specializing in event planning and promotions. We produce some of our own events. Our events target the upscale 23-40 age group, of the “in the know crowd” and the attendance at each event on average is around 700 people. All of our events (complete with description and photos) can be viewed at www.joonbug.com. In addition to events we also do traditional marketing and advertising through emails and the web, print advertising, telemarketing, and other sorts of direct marketing. We work with national advertising companies such as American Express, Nokia, Samsung, and Dosequis. We have a very extensive following and we are growing every day as a company. Job Description JoonBug Productions Inc. is seeking a non-paid intern for the Fall 2005 or Spring 2006 Semester. We have branded ourselves as the place to find out what is happening in NYC for everything from special events to a night out on the town. There is major opportunity here to gain knowledge and experience through daily tasks and networking with the right people. We would want an intern that could grow with us as a company. This intern should be someone who can multi-task and take on responsibilities with ease. Duties and Responsibilities The intern will be assisting the two partners/founders of the company and their assistants. The intern will gain hands on experience and work on excellent events for their resume. The Fall Intern will work on events and the marketing for Halloween, Thanksgiving Eve, and New Years Eve parties. Other duties include working with charities and photographers. The spring intern would also be working with charities and photographers yet will also have the opportunity to work with our graphic designer, and content manger, and sales manager in assisting them. Both fall and spring interns will be given his/her own projects to handle. Knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel are a must. There will also be some light administrative work including answering phones, light filing and office duties. Good phone manners are also very important. We need someone who is personable and outgoing. Time Requirements JoonBug can be flexible about the hours required for credit for its internship.
