    Cassie Rocha

    Resident Advisor
    New Yorker Residence

Cassie Rocha is a junior at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, where she is majoring in Culture and Deviance Studies. This fraternal twin (her sister’s name is Jessie) comes to NYC from Simsbury, Connecticut and enjoys watching House Hunters on TV or her favorite movie, Pirates of the Caribbean. When she’s not working or in school, Cassie enjoys going to concerts and spending time outdoors. If she needs something to appease her appetite, potato salad and a Milky Way seem to do the trick. Cassie is soon going to begin her studies of the German language, which she is really excited about. If you can speak German, she’ll be glad to have someone to practice with.  NYC is a great place to be, but Cassie advises to also explore outside of the city when possible... such as taking a weekend trip to Vermont to enjoy the fall foliage and go hiking! She also recommends walking the Brooklyn Heights promenade or Highline Park. Cassie’s favorite thing about EHS is how it manages to make huge residential buildings feel so homey!
