Who Wants to Be a Millionaire

This popular trivia show is filmed at ABC's Upper West Side studios. Tickets are available online at www.millionairetv.com or call 212-479-7755. You must be 18 years old to attend.

You can try to get advanced tickets by calling the TRL Ticket Reservation Hot Line at 212-398-8549. The show is broadcast live from MTV's second-floor glass-walled studio at 1515 Broadway, at 44th Street in Times Square, weekdays at 3:30pm. You must be between 16 and 24 years old. Stand-bys are available starting at 2pm.

The Today Show

This one is pretty easy to get on. Just show up outside the glass walled studio at Rockefeller Center on the southwest corner of 49th Street between 7 and 10 in the morning. Bring a big sign to make sure you get noticed.

Saturday Night Live

Written requests are taken during the month of August only, and can be emailed to snltickets@nbc.com. Each winner of the ticket lottery will receive two tickets. You can try for standby tickets at 7am on the 49th street side of 30 Rockefeller Plaza on the morning of the taping. There is a full dress rehearsal at 8pm and the live show is at 11:30. You must be at least 16 years old to attend.

The Late Show with David Letterman

This is the hardest TV ticket to get in NYC. Tapings are Monday through Thursday at 5:30pm, with a second taping Thursday at 8pm. You’ll want to try to get a spot at least 6 to 9 months in advance. You can also register online at www.cbs.com/latenight/lateshow (click on "Get Tickets") to be notified of tickets that may become available for specific dates you select over the next 3 months. On tape days, stand-bys are handled via phone only at 212-247-6497, starting at 11am. You must be 18 or older to attend.

Late Night with Conan O'Brien

Tapings are Tuesday through Friday at 5:30pm and you can reserve up to four tickets in advance by calling 212-664-3056. You must be 16 or older to attend. Stand-by tickets are available on the day of taping at 9am outside 30 Rockefeller Plaza, on the 49th Street side of the building. It goes without saying, but get there early if you actually want to get one.

Last Call with Carson Daly

Taping starts on weeknights at 7pm and 9pm. Up to four tickets can be reserved in advance by calling 212-664-3056. Stand-by’s are available on a first-come, first-served basis the day of the taping at 9am at 30 Rockefeller Plaza on the 49th Street side of the building. Get there early, and know that stand-bys aren’t a guaranteed admission.

The Daily Show with Jon Stewart

Taping starts at 5:45pm at the studios at 513 W. 54th St. Ticket reservations can be made by phone at 212-586-2477 or online at their website. You must be at least 18 years old to attend.
