Completed and opened in August 2007, the 55 John Street Residence brings EHS’s customized, first-rate amenities and services to the heart of New York City’s Financial District.

Now Educational Housing Services residents can enjoy unmatched proximity to all of the city’s downtown destinations: Tribeca, SoHo, Wall Street, the South Street Seaport, Battery Park, the West Side Esplanade and of course, Pace University all await within walking distance from their New York City student housing.

Many affordable restaurants and retail stores coexist among the neighborhood’s more extravagant options and provide great New York City activities. With a generous selection of subways nearby, including 3 express lines, our residents are just one stop from Brooklyn and never far from any of the city’s other cultural treasures.

Double and triple-occupancy rooms, all fully furnished to include a combination flat-screen TV/DVD player, high-speed internet service, refrigerator, microwave, large windows and a private bathroom.

An activities lounge with computers, a large flat-screen TV and a pool table is the setting for many Student Life events, while a "quiet" lounge offers students a place to study together or independently. A fully equipped fitness center is available as well as 3 communal kitchen areas.
