Flash the Night - Earth Hour 2012
< back to NewsEHS is continuing its efforts to help save our wondrous Earth and we need your help!
On Saturday, March 31st at 8:30PM the world will be turning off lights for one hour and we are going to join them. That’s right, no usage of power allowed!
JOIN US! In our annual Flash the Night event beginning at 8PM. Residents in all our halls will have the chance to play games, showcase their talents whether it’s singing, playing or acting and other fun activities all while in the dark (well a room lit by flashlight. We will also have tasty treats and will be giving out glow sticks, funny light up items, and raffling off great prizes! in some buildings you will enjoy Laser Tag!!
DON’T FORGET the event starts at 8PM in all residences on Saturday, March 31st.
Check your buildings Facebook event for more great information and tools on how to support Earth Hour. If you can’t join us you can still participate by turning off all your room lights and television at 8:30pm for one hour. For more on earth hour go to the MyEarthHour website to sign up and to be counted.
