All newcomers to NYC should have it this easy.

From the moment students first set foot in our residences, our trained Student Life staff helps acclimate new arrivals to their exciting new home. A staff member greets each student, assists with the move-in and introduces the caring Resident Advisor to which the student has been assigned. Students also receive a comprehensive handbook describing all aspects of their EHS living experience, which was created with input from our partnering schools. Soon afterward, we introduce all our residents to each other at a special introductory breakfast, provide a brief overview of the first month's special Student Life events and invite everyone on walking tours of the neighborhood. Enthusiasm among our residents quickly builds as we launch our full selection of engaging in-residence programs and a variety of special activities and events held throughout New York City.

Each residence has a Property Manager, a live-in Residence Director, the aforementioned Resident Advisors, 24-hour security and on-site maintenance staff. All EHS residence staff has undergone thorough training and knows how to work individually and together to handle any situation.
