Lounges

Whether you need to study, meet new friends and/or mingle with old ones, there are a few open spaces for you to enjoy while living at the 1760 Third Avenue Residence. All lounges have wireless capability. There are also iPads available for your use in the Lobby adjacent to the Student Life Office. The lounges have equipment which is expected to be treated properly. Drinking alcoholic beverages is not allowed in the lounges or any EHS community areas, which includes hallways, stairways, elevators, and laundry room. Any misuse or damage to the equipment will result in the resident being held responsible. 

Please clean up after yourself and understand that these spaces are used by all EHS residents and observe all signage and hours of operations. 

Library Lounge

  • Located in the Lobby.

  • Perfect for quiet study.

  • Not available for reservation.

  • Space is open 24 hours, 7 days a week unless otherwise indicated.

Conference Room 

  • Located in the Lobby.

  • Perfect for larger groups or individual residents.

  • Equipped with large conference table and chairs.

  • Can be reserved.

  • Space is open 24 hours, 7 days a week unless otherwise indicated.

Multipurpose Room

  • Located in Concourse Level.

  • Can be reserved.

  • Equipped with one flat screen TV, tables, and chairs

  • Space is open 24 hours, 7 days a week unless otherwise indicated.

Quiet Room 

  • Located in the Lobby.

  • Ideal for study.

  • Can be reserved.

  • Please keep your voice to a minimum

  • Space is open 24 hours, 7 days a week unless otherwise indicated.

Private Dining Room

  • Located in the Kitchen.

  • Ideal for larger group meetings/dinners.

  • Can be reserved.

  • Equipped with a large table and chairs.

  • Please observe all signage and hours of operations.

Game Room

  • Located in the Concourse Level.

  • Equipped with a pool and ping pong table, 2 flat screen TVs with over 170 channels and relaxing couches.

  • Space is open 24 hours, 7 days a week unless otherwise indicated

RESERVING A SPACE

If you are using any of these open spaces for a group meeting or event, you will need to reserve them with the Student Life Office. In order to allow other residents to use these spaces, reservations can only be made for a maximum period of two hours.

Reservations are on a first come first served basis. This space is only for school related events and/or projects. You may only reserve a common space for a period of up to two hours. If no one has signed up to use the space you are in, you may continue to use it. If you wish to reserve a space please stop by the Student Life Office and speak with a Student Life Representative.
