ID Cards

Each EHS resident will be issued a photo EHS ID card to enter the building and their room. Resident will be given a mailbox key upon returning the Room Condition Report (given to you upon check-in). All residents are required to carry their EHS ID at all times and must present it to the security guard before they can be admitted to the residence. This ID card will also be your room key.

If someone is found with an EHS ID/Key that doesn’t belong to them, the resident will face disciplinary sanctions including possible expulsion and the ID/Key will be confiscated. For the complete list of policies please read our Code of Conduct .

Replacement Fees:

  • Photo ID is $20.00.
  • Mailbox key is $20.00.

LOCKOUTS

It is your responsibility to carry your ID/key with you at all times. If you are locked out, please follow these steps:

  • All residents should go to the EHS Student Life Desk/Office during the posted hours.
  • A temporary room access key will be issued (you might be asked to show proof of valid identification).
  • Residents are required to return this key within 20 minutes of issue, to avoid a $20 access key replacement fee.
  • For lockouts after the EHS Student Life Desk/Office is closed, you must seek out security or contact the RA on Duty for your school who will let you in to your room.
