Welcome to John Jay College of Criminal Justice! Although John Jay College does not have an on-campus residence, we are able to offer our students a residential community they can call home.

John Jay College has teamed up with Educational Housing Services (EHS) to bring you the very best in student housing with EHS’ multiple residences in Manhattan and Brooklyn Heights, all of which are within easy commuting distance to John Jay. The EHS New Yorker Residence is located in the heart of midtown on 8th Ave and 34th street only steps away from Penn Station, and is a common favorite for John Jay students. The EHS Hudson Yards Residence on 34th street between 9th and 10th Aves is another great option.

EHS residences include impressive amenities including free wifi, air conditioning, fitness centers, 24-hour security and surveillance, community spaces, and more.

EHS residents also get free access to EHS' exclusive Student Life program, featuring ongoing events to famous museums, sports events, food festivals and more, so you can explore the city and connect with friends.

4. Provide Guarantor Information

A guarantor is a person over the age of 21, usually a parent, who agrees to be responsible if you are ever unable to fulfill the financial obligations of your housing agreement. If you can't get a parent to be a guarantor, the next best bet would be a relative or friend.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

To ensure the integrity of your reservation, all cancellation requests MUST be received by EHS through DocuSign or sent via certified or registered mail (to 55 Clark Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201, Attention: Director of Leasing). Your request MUST be processed by DocuSign by 11:59 pm New York City Time, or postmarked on or before the cancellation deadlines set forth above. Cancellation requests processed or postmarked after the deadline or sent via a different method will result in NO REFUND of monies paid.

If there is a guarantor (required for 9 and 12 month reservations), the guarantor will be responsible to guarantee payment pursuant to the License Agreement and the Guaranty.

The client also understands that the Membership Fee is NONREFUNDABLE and NONTRANSFERABLE.

All refunds are processed via check within 8-10 weeks and mailed to the client.
