Educational Housing Services helps residents get through finals

Almost 30 study break activities planned throughout the EHS Residences

BROOKLYN, NY (May 8, 2013):Educational Housing Services, Inc. (EHS) is helping residents beat the finals blues by offering several festive events throughout May. From offering residents complimentary coffee and movie nights to a "Farewell Event" so residents have a chance to say goodbye to their friends, EHS has almost 30 events planned in its buildings during the month.

"We know this is a stressful time for our residents, and want to help by offering them a break from the books," says Brian Harrington, Student Life Administrative Assistant. "The end of the semester also means many residents are saying goodbye, so the events also give them a share a few more fun memories before they leave."

The events are just a snapshot of EHS Student Life's ongoing effort to make sure residents are getting the most from their experience living at EHS in New York City. Many of the events are complimentary; if not, they are offered at an extreme discount so that they are viable even on a student's budget.

Educational Housing Services Inc. is a not-for-profit organization that has provided safe and convenient off-campus housing in New York City for college students and interns since 1987. The organization works with many academic institutions and corporations to provide housing for over 10,000 students and interns annually, and also leases to individual students. EHS operates eight student residences in Manhattan and Brooklyn, each of which offers fully-furnished and amenity-rich accommodations that include 24-hour security, a live-in residential staff, laundry rooms, fitness facilities, and an active student life program. Subject to availability. All 9 month reservations require 30% plus Membership Fee at the time of reservation, with 30% due by 8/1 and the final 40% due by 12/1.

4. Provide Guarantor Information

A guarantor is a person over the age of 21, usually a parent, who agrees to be responsible if you are ever unable to fulfill the financial obligations of your housing agreement. If you can't get a parent to be a guarantor, the next best bet would be a relative or friend.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

To ensure the integrity of your reservation, all cancellation requests MUST be received by EHS through DocuSign or sent via certified or registered mail (to 55 Clark Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201, Attention: Director of Leasing). Your request MUST be processed by DocuSign by 11:59 pm New York City Time, or postmarked on or before the cancellation deadlines set forth above. Cancellation requests processed or postmarked after the deadline or sent via a different method will result in NO REFUND of monies paid.

If there is a guarantor (required for 9 and 12 month reservations), the guarantor will be responsible to guarantee payment pursuant to the License Agreement and the Guaranty.

The client also understands that the Membership Fee is NONREFUNDABLE and NONTRANSFERABLE.

All refunds are processed via check within 8-10 weeks and mailed to the client.
