Educational Housing Services Unveils Its New Mobile Website!

New Mobile Website Helps College Students On-The-Go Find Housing in New York City

New York, NY --- Educational Housing Services (EHS) Inc., New York City’s largest  provider of safe and convenient housing for college students and interns, has launched a mobile website that enables students to access housing information from any web-enabled phone or Smartphone. Now, students scoping out places to live in New York City will be able to access information about EHS residences from virtually anywhere by visiting https://www.studenthousing.org.

“A third of EHS' website visitors access it from a mobile device, so we’ve created a site especially for them that is faster and more user-friendly,” said George J. Scott, President of Educational Housing Services. “Our new mobile website also enables students to reach us more easily when they’re out and about looking for a place to live, which makes perfect sense.”  Educational Housing Services worked with Manhattan-based digital content studio Crossborders to create this exclusive Mobile Optimized Experience. Visitors are able to scroll through each of the available EHS properties with ease, watch videos, submit an online inquiry and “click to call” an available EHS housing advisor directly. Site images were optimized to load quickly and click through to video content, while text and navigation buttons were made for use with fingers, not a mouse and keyboard.

In addition, viewers can click to be connected to the Educational Housing Services’ Facebook page, Twitter feed, or to the full website.

Educational Housing Services Inc. is a not-for-profit organization that has provided safe and convenient off-campus housing in New York City for college students and interns since 1987. The organization  works with academic institutions and corporations to provide housing to their students and interns and also leases to individual students. EHS operates six student residences in Manhattan and Brooklyn, each of which offer fully-furnished and amenity-rich accommodations that include 24-hour security, a live-in residential staff, laundry rooms, fitness facilities, and an active student life program.  For details visit www.studenthousing.org.
