In support of Educational Housing Services Inc’s (EHS) commitment to health and safety for all members of its community, EHS is requiring all residents and employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Residents will be asked for proof of vaccination prior to check-in.
EHS Vaccination Policy and Procedures
Our highest priority always is the safety and well-being of our students and staff. We are following regulations and expert guidance from government health agencies, and taking the following measures to help protect the health of our community:
All high-touch areas like elevators and door handles, are frequently disinfected with EPA-listed products specifically indicated for use against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.
Common areas, work and amenity spaces are being disinfected more frequently with adjusted hours to allow for daily detailed cleaning.
Touchless sanitizers are available in the elevator areas and the common spaces.
Staff and residents are encouraged to wear face coverings in common spaces.
Maintenance staff will wear appropriate face covering for all service calls.
We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in helping to maintain a healthy and safe community, and we are continuously taking proactive measures against the spread of the virus.
Additional precautions for the safety of all residents and staff:
Contactless check-in procedures.
Quarantine support and procedures are given to residents needing to isolate.
Room Occupancy
By selecting to live in a double/triple occupancy room, you are agreeing to live in ‘Family Unit’ approach to room occupancy. It is understood that students in this arrangement share exposure and are therefore responsible to one another to protect the integrity of their shared space by ensuring that safe protective measures are followed whenever they are outside the room. This also means that if one student in the room is identified as being in need of quarantine, all members of the room may need to quarantine too.
