WHY EHS?
John Jay College has teamed up with Educational Housing Services to bring students the very best in student housing for over a decade. EHS offers two amenity-filled residences located next to key subway stops, making them an easy and convenient commute to John Jay's campus.

EHS is an ideal choice for John Jay students because each building is located in a prime neighborhood bustling with restaurants, culture, and access to parks. Each residence also offers a bundle of impressive amenities including free wifi, central air conditioning, fitness centers, 24-hour security and more.

All EHS residents also enjoy access to EHS' exclusive Student Life program, which includes virtual events and in-person trips to famous museums, Yankees games, food festivals and more, providing an easy way for residents to meet and form friendships.

The EHS New Yorker Residence is located in the heart of Manhattan, only steps away from Penn Station, and is a common favorite for John Jay students because it's only a 15-minute subway ride away or 30 minute walk from campus. Students also love that the residence has the Tik Tok Diner right in the lobby for fast, delicious meals, and also has grocery stores, pharmacies, and shopping/entertainment nearby.

The EHS St. George Residence is another great option, located in beautiful Brooklyn Heights, only a 30 minute-subway ride from John Jay's campus. This is a great choice for students who want to enjoy Brooklyn's laid-back vibe while still being close to the action of Manhattan and campus. Restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, shopping and culture are all close to the building so residents have everything they need.

SAFETY

Rest assured knowing that EHS's highest priority always is the safety and well-being of students and staff. EHS residences offer 24/7 security guards at each building entrance, as well as live-in professional Student Life staff ready to help out with any questions or issues that come up. COMMUTE

The EHS New Yorker Residence is located in bustling Herald Square, only a 15-minute subway ride away or 30 minute walk from John Jay's campus.The EHS St. George Residence is another great option, located in beautiful Brooklyn Heights only a 30 minute-subway ride from John Jay's campus.

NEIGHBORHOOD AND DINING OPTIONS

The EHS New Yorker Residence offers the convenient Tik Tok Diner right in the building lobby for fast, delicious meals. Grocery stores, pharmacies, prime restaurants and shopping in Herald Square are all nearby, plus Central Park and the High Line offer a chance to escape the action and recharge.

The EHS St. George Residence is within one block of restaurants, coffee shops and two grocery stores. It's also only a few-minute walk away from the world-famous Promenade which offers stunning views of Manhattan, and a short walk to Brooklyn Bridge Park and the famous restaurants and shopping in Dumbo and on Montague Street. Stores like Trader Joes, pharmacies, and entertainment are all also close by the building.

Subject to availability. All 9 month reservations require 30% plus Membership Fee at the time of reservation, with 30% due by 8/1 and the final 40% due by 12/1.

4. Provide Guarantor Information

First & Last Name

A guarantor is a person over the age of 21, usually a parent, who agrees to be responsible if you are ever unable to fulfill the financial obligations of your housing agreement. If you can't get a parent to be a guarantor, the next best bet would be a relative or friend.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

To ensure the integrity of your reservation, all cancellation requests MUST be received by EHS through DocuSign or sent via certified or registered mail (to 55 Clark Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201, Attention: Director of Leasing). Your request MUST be processed by DocuSign by 11:59 pm New York City Time, or postmarked on or before the cancellation deadlines set forth above. Cancellation requests processed or postmarked after the deadline or sent via a different method will result in NO REFUND of monies paid.

If there is a guarantor (required for 9 and 12 month reservations), the guarantor will be responsible to guarantee payment pursuant to the License Agreement and the Guaranty.

The client also understands that the Membership Fee is NONREFUNDABLE and NONTRANSFERABLE.

All refunds are processed via check within 8-10 weeks and mailed to the client.
