ST. GEORGE RESIDENCE - Henna Tattoos

Henna tattoos are a traditional practice that derives from India as well as other Arabic countries, mostly used for ceremonial purposes, it is a natural herbal paste that is applied to the skin in a decorative way and leaves a stain that can last up to three weeks. EHS RA Keenon and RD Samantha will be bringing this practice to EHS and applying it to the St. George residents as well as giving them a brief history of the tradition behind it. The event takes place on Monday, October 12th at 7:30PM and it is first come, first served. Sign up at the student life desk starting October 1st and we will see you in the Hang Lounge for some Henna tattoo fun!

Are you afraid of what the future holds? Fortune Telling Event at the 1760 Third Avenue Residence is predicted to be the spookiest of all! Feel the aura of mystery and feel a touch of magic with the secrets of the future. Ask our fortune teller to go over your career goals or find out the deepest secrets of love, you will not regret what you see – but you might regret hearing it! Come down to the Conference room and join Resident Advisor Daniel Langan and your fellow residents for some Fortune Telling fun.

NEW YORKER RESIDENCE - Fundraiser Partry

The New Yorker Residence is raffling free overnight guest registration packages to New Yorker residents as part of our fundraising towards ‘Making Strides Breast Cancer Awareness Walk.’ Raffles can be purchased at $1 for three raffle tickets, or $3 for five raffle tickets. Residents are encouraged to participate by stopping by the Student Life Office. New Yorker residents should check with the Student Life Office for full details beginning September 25, 2011. Winners will be announced during our Fundraiser Party on Sunday, October 9, 2011 starting at 9PM. Winners must be present to claim prize. Drawing will occur at 10PM. Stop by the 16th Floor lounge and party it up with us!

4. Provide Guarantor Information

A guarantor is a person over the age of 21, usually a parent, who agrees to be responsible if you are ever unable to fulfill the financial obligations of your housing agreement. If you can't get a parent to be a guarantor, the next best bet would be a relative or friend.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

To ensure the integrity of your reservation, all cancellation requests MUST be received by EHS through DocuSign or sent via certified or registered mail (to 55 Clark Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201, Attention: Director of Leasing). Your request MUST be processed by DocuSign by 11:59 pm New York City Time, or postmarked on or before the cancellation deadlines set forth above. Cancellation requests processed or postmarked after the deadline or sent via a different method will result in NO REFUND of monies paid.

If there is a guarantor (required for 9 and 12 month reservations), the guarantor will be responsible to guarantee payment pursuant to the License Agreement and the Guaranty.

The client also understands that the Membership Fee is NONREFUNDABLE and NONTRANSFERABLE.

All refunds for payments made within the last 180 days via credit/debit card shall be issued back onto the card used for payment. Refunds for all other payments will be issued via check and mailed to the student / intern. Please allow 8-10 weeks for processing.
