    Associate Director of Student Life

    Catherine (Cat) Rayhill is from Utica, NY and is studying Acting/Meisner Technique at the William Esper Studio. Before moving to the city Cat received a Bachelor’s degree in History at Union College in Schenectady, NY, where she also studied Dance and American Cultural History. In her free time Cat enjoys cooking, knitting, failing at crochet, reading, dancing, and writing. Cat also adores going to the library as well as the many museums in NYC. What does Cat love about EHS? “I love having the opportunity to meet so many new people from all the different schools in the city.”

    John is from Westchester, New York and has lived in NYC for the past 6 years. John is a first generation American with parents of Ecuadorian descent. Having lived with EHS and served as a Resident Advisor, John brings both a resident perspective and on-the-ground housing experience to the EHS Marymount Manhattan Community. Holding a BFA from Pace University and a MS from Baruch College, John is committed to maintaining a well-managed, supportive residence and to delivering consistent service to residents throughout their stay. In his free time, John loves to make music, act on film, and hang out with friends and family.

    Resident Advisor

    Alex is an aspiring historian and museum professional. Originally from Maine, they have lived in various places from Lausanne, Switzerland, to Columbus, Ohio. Currently, their research focuses on past “scents”, including perfumes, body odor, and cosmetic products, and how these smells intersect with fashion and gender. Now enrolled in the Fashion Institute of Technology’s Fashion and Textile Studies: History, Theory, and Museum Practice program, they hope to further the fields of fashion and sensory studies by bridging the gap between them with research.

    Resident Advisor

    Isabella (Bella) Landino is from Howell, New Jersey, and is currently studying for her Master’s in Forensic Psychology at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Before moving to New York, Bella studied Psychology and Spanish at Drew University in Madison, NJ, where she became heavily involved in student leadership and research. Currently, Bella is a coder in the Jury Decision-Making Lab at John Jay and a research assistant for the Forensic Assessment Lab. Bella will also be doing research this fall at Kirby Forensic Psychiatric Center on Randall’s Island and externing with DOAR Trial Consulting. Outside of school, Bella loves to be creative through coloring, painting, listening to music, and writing poetry (mostly in Spanish). Bella loves to bake and cook as well, and is always trying out new recipes. She also enjoys a quiet night in, watching movies, eating good food, and spending time with her friends and family. In the city, Bella loves exploring new places and cannot wait for what it has to offer this year!

    I am native of New Windsor, New York and am a driven student-athlete specializing in sprints and jumps. I am currently pursuing a masters in sports media and communication academic at Iona University, I aspire to have a career as a Social Media Manager. I also enjoy traveling, spending time with friends, and indulging in his favorite treats,especially cookies. “My strong commitment to excellence in both athletics and academics, along with my leadership roles, reflects a deep dedication to personal growth and meaningful community engagement.”

  • Agueda Petrosino

    Agueda is currently a junior at John Jay college with a major in Forensic Psychology. She hopes to one day become a specialized mental heath expert in areas revolving around crime wether it is to help those victimized or understand those who have committed them. She enjoys all things art, photography, makeup/hair, video games, and hanging out with friends. Agueda also loves spending time in all types of nature ranging from mountains to beaches or taking long walks through the New York city streets trying to find a cute picnic spot. Agueda’s love for nature also shows through her passion in protecting the environment and helping animals in need, she has worked with dogs for years and plans to always dedicate part of her time to helping animals and advocating for their rights. She believes all lives deserve a voice wether human or not and hopes to be the voice for those who have gone unheard.

  • Sophia Strange

    Sophia Strange

    Resident Advisor

    Sophia is a graphic designer, journalist, and photographer who was born in California and raised in Connecticut. She’s always had an obsession with storytelling, whether it came in the form of a fantasy novel, a photo series, a musical record, or a tabletop game. This love for creative storytelling inspired a passion for photography and design, an interest she pursued independently and in classes throughout middle and high school before her arrival in New York City. Now a senior in the Communication Design program at Parsons School of Design, Sophia is bringing her childhood dreams to life by contributing to a local music publication as a photographer and journalist while also pursuing a minor in Museum and Curatorial Studies. To her, having such a wide set of interests is just a reason to pursue all of them with equal excitement.
