Carolyn Hendricks
Resident AdvisorCarolyn Hendricks
Resident AdvisorCarolyn is a philosopher from a coastal county in Connecticut. In her free time, you can find Carolyn at the gym lifting or with her nose in some philosophical texts as she sips a warm herbal tea. Growing up, Carolyn spent her years as an extracurricular extraordinaire, swimming competitively, performing ballet and tap, and participating in Girl Scouts of the USA, all while learning various instruments and singing at every chance. Carolyn’s passion for academia arose through her relationship with her father, who introduced her to profound topics like cosmology, paleontology, and archeology via books, conversation, and cable television. An obsession with the gravity of these fields fueled an endless line of questioning that only philosophical inquiry could satisfy, and so Carolyn pursued the discipline at her alma mater, Pace University. Her academic trajectory continues to persist as she seeks to enter a PhD program after the Summer of 2026. Through engagement with perennial questions, the application of critical thinking, and sustained reflection on the complexities of life, religion, and happiness, Carolyn aspires to refine her own worldview while enriching the perspectives of those around her.
