Visitor Policy

Overnight Visitors will be permitted as of June 6th, 2022

After two years of instituting a no guest policy, EHS has decided to reinstitute our Overnight Visitor program. Residents must read through their specific requirements for their own residences. As with all policies over the past two years, this policy is subject to change as COVID numbers fluctuate. EHS aims to provide residents with the opportunity and privilege of having visitors while also maintaining the security and comfort for all members of the residential community.

This balance relies on a culture of mutual respect and a process of policy enforcement. It is expected that residents having visitors know and abide by Visitor policy, plan, be courteous to one another, communicate with their roommates, and make compromises when necessary. EHS reserves the right to change policies due to the uncertainty of COVID or resident/visitor behavior.

  • Residents/Visitors must complete a Visitor Registration Form prior to visitor entry to the building. A QR code to complete this form will be posted at the security desk.

  • Any visitor must be 18 years or older.

  • Visitors are required to have a copy of their vaccination card showing vaccination complete more than 14 days before arrival.

  • Residents may only have one visitor at any given time.

  • All visitors must abide by the residence Policies and Code of Conduct.

  • Residents are legally and financially responsible for the conduct of their visitors, including any policy violations, damages or other incidents.

  • Any visitor that violates EHS policies or procedures will be removed from the building and prohibited from future visits to the residence.

  • Visitors are not given keys (EHS ID Card), nor are they permitted to hold or use the host's key (EHS ID Card).

  • Visitors must be physically escorted by their host at all times, including entering/exiting the building and while in the resident's room.

  • No person who is required by law to register as a sex offender may be a visitor in any EHS residence.

  • Failure to comply will result in visitor dismissal from the residence and penalty to visitor privileges for the resident.

  • ROOMMATE CONSENT: If you have a visitor staying overnight and you have a roommate, you must get your roommate's consent. By completing the Visitor Registration Form you acknowledge that you have had a conversation with your roommate and have their consent.

  • Upon arrival to the building, complete the EHS Visitor Registration Form.

  • Once screening is complete, the visitor will need to provide a photo ID, their confirmation email and the resident will need to provide their EHS ID to security.

  • Once valid dates of registration and IDs are confirmed by security staff, the resident and visitor will be allowed access to the building.

We thank you in advance for reviewing and abiding by the above policies and procedures while hosting a visitor. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us at
